Evans Drags Inspector General of Police To Court (See Why)


Suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans who was arrested recently has dragged the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and 3 others before the Federal High Court in Lagos over alleged illegal detention.
In the case filed on Wednesday before the Federal High Court in Lagos through his lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, claims that his continued detention for about 18 days without being charged to court is an infringement on his fundamental human rights.
The suspect’s lawyer demands that the respondents immediately charge Evans to court if there is any case against him in accordance with Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Covenant Dako, a security guard with a restaurant in FESTAC Town, Lagos State, escaped death by a whisker after he was attacked by an angry mob for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl.
