Suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans who was arrested recently has dragged the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and 3 others before the Federal High Court in Lagos over alleged illegal detention. In the case filed on Wednesday before the Federal High Court in Lagos through his lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, claims that his continued detention for about 18 days without being charged to court is an infringement on his fundamental human rights. The suspect’s lawyer demands that the respondents immediately charge Evans to court if there is any case against him in accordance with Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Joy Bishara , 20, and Lydia Pogu , 19, two of the Chibok schoolgirls who were able to escape from Boko Haram in 2014, met with US President Donald Trump at the White House Wednesday, June 28. The duo and several other girls who escaped moved to the United States to complete school. With the help of a Christian nonprofit, others, they were able to attend boarding school in Virginia.
